Havelock Type 57 Battlesuit - Concepting

Concept Art - IAF020 Havelock Battlesuit
We call them the 'Tall and Strong' you know, after the Old Earth Legend. The Havelock's are a real life saver on the battlefield. Out in the open the Desteria Knights can cut us up real bad and it takes a lot to stop them. But with a Battlesuit at your back the job's a lot easier. It's like taking the artillery with you. Anda Missile Pods, Valerin Laser Cannon, Angis AP Cannon and more. Just point those Knights out and let the Tall and Strong do the work. So, yeah, I adore them. Being in the Muster is all the better for having the Havelock.”
Emeritas Jeff Kildare, 703rd Regiment Prydian Army, 4322IC

Got to love concept art.  Really got to love it.  Like the concept art above.  Have a click on it and adore the heavy hitter that is the 15mm scale Havelock Battlesuit for the Prydian Army.

Digitally drawn by our lead designer Sam Croes the Havelock Type 57 is a mobile gun platform for the Muster not only of the Prydian Army but the Marcher Barons too.  Six different weapon systems and a massive Impact Fist.  Piloted by a single Muster trooper.

So do you like it?  We really do.  Should I tell you that you will have to wait months for this concept to become something solid, something for your gaming table?  I could do that, I could tease you with it....but no.

I will tell you instead that come first few days of November 2013 we will be doing an Early Support Offer set on this white metal kit miniature which right now, right now...actually exists and will be going into production this week!

Not very good at this teaser stuff am I?

    1. Ah! Thanks Stonecoldlead,

Currently we have no direct plans to make it 28mm but its on the list of 28mm projects. The two scales will match each other in time to come.

Hope you liked it in 15mm scale as it is.

  2. You keep making more and more of a choice on what to put on the next purchase list first. Now I am going to have to rethink the list.
Keep up the most excellent work.

    1. Hello Bob,

I do like to keep wargamers happy but we can only do so much. The trick is to just surrender your will and resistance and take it all! :-)

If you would like help with your list drop me an email.

    1. Thanks Dave. We are aiming for a diverse use for the Havelock. From infantry support to long range fire support and then anti-armour too.

  6. I'm glad I've been holding off on my next order - Its always been that "Shall I wait to see the Friday release first" for the last few weeks and now it looks like I can place one.

    Cheers

    1. Hello Paul,

The next new release is on Thursday. Always Thursday but early supporter offers are a Monday. Why? Well, I know that a lot of people despair at the prospect of a Monday...so...ESO! That way something awesome to look at and lust over at the start of the week.

    1. Full details next week J. But for the moment I will say that there will be scale shots to show you and they are about two to three times the height of a 15mm Muster miniature in our range.

  9. Nice, very Nice, hopefully the arms & torso with be separate to help with differnt poses and makes easily to paint.

    1. Thanks for your comment MMG.

This miniature is going to be a one piece body with separate weapon arm and missile pod. Sorry! Full details on Monday. But it does have five different weapon arms and the pod so a lot of variety possible.

I asked our figure painter and actually it is a easier to paint kit model. Painting up the flat surfaces, once done, adding the top pod and chosen arm.
