Bill Armintrout Mr TMP paints up his Adder Combat Cars

My good friend of many years Bill over at The Miniatures Page has updated his project 'Warfare in the Age of Madness' with some vehicle support he purchased from The Ion Age.  A pair of IAF035B Yellow Adder Combat Cars.  He has featured these in his Showcase page of TMP.  Click on the links to visit and to read and see more pictures along with details of past updates in his project.

There are currently six different wheeled variants of the Adder Combat Car which has just come back to our website at a new lower price.

Nice job Bill!

Thanks for Reading,

Customers Excellent Service from The Ion Age

A quick and short post across our three blogs today.  Alternative Armies, 15mm.co.uk and The Ion Age are all part of one company of which I am the creative manager.  Its a varied job with a lot of responsibility in many areas.  On top of the office work and the creation of wargames and content as well as design briefs for new miniatures I also oversee the websites and the photography and product construction too.  Finally as part of my role I speak to customers and to wargamers.

I do this often outside of normal working hours and at weekends too.  In fact I take such great pride in my role and the company that I answer every single message and email sent to us or to me.  Every order passes through my hands at least once and all questions are addressed by myself.

Over on The Miniatures Page the level of service we offer has been raised by several customers and I wanted to provide a link to the page.  Its not about blowing our own trumpet but rather after a simply awesome month of April it cheered me greatly to see this thread.  Thank you to all who choose to spend their hard earned money with us on products thought up, designed and manufactured from here in the UK.

Thanks for your time.

The Miniatures Page features The Ion Age in the latest Profiles post

Editor in Chief Bill over at The Miniatures Page has a new profile post up and about.  Its taken me a few days to get on to this due to other commitments but if you follow the link you will see the article.

The setting is Post-Apocalyptic which is not our normal fare but hey our Adder Combat Cars are really versatile and as Bill says they are also great value too.  His choice was a pair of the IAF035B Yellow Adder Combat Cars which is the fire support variant with twin Anda Missile Pods.

I am not familiar at all with the rules being used but they look like good fun.  Details in the post.

Thanks for Reading.

There is no release this week and instead we are giving you an advanced look at the two new releases and the several special offers on existing codes which will feature in our four day Christmas Special next week from 24th to 27th December 2013.  So have a look and then visit us on Christmas Eve to grab these new products and offers before the offer runs out.  There will be full details on our Ion Age Blog next week when the event begins.  Oh, and of course you get a free IMP04 Santa Desteria Miniature in all orders!

Lets begin with a peek two new releases which will come out on Christmas Eve at 10% off retail price (20% for three packs) for the four days of the event!

Information Burst!
A week to go until the Christmas Day offers and releases (yes I know its four days but hey everyone needs some time on their own after the Turkey is finished off).  Two new packs and six offers too cracking!  Bookmark us for the 24th December.  Thanks everyone for your support with IAFL03 Retained Pistoleers in the past week its our fastest selling limited code so far.  Also thank you for the kind words online and by email too in light of the sometimes cruel comments on forums about our limited edition policy it means a lot to us.  We agree with our customers, a bit of fun and something a bit rare makes wargaming more interesting and yes we have had forty requests for it so a  normal pack of Pistoleers has been added to our 2014 design schedule.  We will also soon be having some teaser posts about some new releases in January 2014 which will be our next Early Supporter Offer stay tuned to the blog.  IMP04 Santa Desteria is around for another two weeks and you get it free with any and all orders.  Remember when you place an order with us you will be prompted to join the loyalty scheme which will earn you Reward Points on all purchases which can, once accumulated, be redeemed for discounts and special miniatures.

The Ion Age is on The Miniatures Page (TMP)

Another step forward for The Ion Age!

We are now on official advertiser, with the above banner designed by Sam Croes, on The Miniatures Page. This is our second paid advertising slot and we will see how it goes.  I decided to sign us up for TMP officially since we were getting a large percentage of our online traffic from forums on TMP already and it seemed like we ought the do the job ourselves.

Doing the job ourselves will involve posting news to TMP and from there the forums can comment as before. I am hoping for positive feedback from readers of TMP just as we have had already here on the blog and by email and on other forums such as the Notables and Wargames News and Terrain blog and Dropship Horizon blog.  It makes me sad to see negative comments made against a company's hard work if those comments are undeserved.  Trolls should stay under bridges or be on the receiving end of my sword as it were.

I will do my best to keep track of all of the news and posts about The Ion Age on TMP and to direct new people to us here so that they can learn all about our little brand and our Space Opera fun in 15mm and 28mm scales.
