Beighton's Shipyard's Havelock on show!

A Havelock Type57D from the 143rd Khartoum Muster,
supports the Red Baron's Retained Knights.

I spotted this over on Beighton's Shipyard at the weekend.  Mark who runs this blog is a big fan of The Ion Age and other brands that I am involved with too such as Flintloque.  He blogs quite often on The Ion Age but his is the first of the many hundreds of Havelocks that went out with the early support offers and since that I have seen online painted up.  So a little post here to celebrate.  I am all about seeing what wargamers do with our miniatures.

Shiny and maroon and with a ruddy great Fretan II rail gun this battlesuit will provide the support that the 143rd Khartoum Muster needs in its conflicts.  Love Havelocks?

  1. Nice paint scheme! After I paint up my knights I'm going order up some Havelocks! I'm basing my knights around the Knight of the Dead.

    1. I like Mark's paint scheme too. I would like to see yours Atom Kid based on the Kight of the Dead once you have them done. I would certainly put up a post on it. Wargamers love to see other wargamers work.

  2. Thank you Gavin for linking to my site. I'm glad you like the paint scheme, I think the Ion Age range does well with a striking paint scheme.

  3. Just out of curiosity are there any official insignia and colour schemes for the Prydian forces other than for the League of Canlaster and Yordan, Personally I am all in favor for creating my own Leagues insignia and paint scheme, but are there any plans to publish more Leagues, insignia and schemes?

    1. Hello Zac thanks for your comment. Nothing at the moment but there are plans for official uniforms and insignia for Canlaster, Yordan and one other when we get to it. Certainly before then there will be photos of painted miniatures from the Leagues. You are more than welcome to create your own like Mark has done.
