October is going to be an infantry focused month at The Ion Age this
year and there is a little rumour going around about a pack of
awesome Female Muster that is about to be released as well as
the last of the trio of troop types at the core of the Prydian Army.
As that is the case then it would be only right that before we have
our unique themed Halloween free miniature next month (remember the
great IMP03 Knight of the Dead last year?) that we boost up
the lady presence even more in the ranks of the Retained. After all
those female Muster might want a stronger arm to lead them into
battle. But this lady will need something else to set her up as a
character suitable for the monthly free miniature. Something with
some impact. How about a specialised Impact Fist from a Desteria
Knight's Noblesee powered armour? This month's miniature is going to
look super in IonFan's Lances of Retained Knights.”
The
IMP14 Female Retained Veteran is October 2014's free miniature which
is automatically put into every order at the rate of one per order of
any value. It can also be bought in any amount too on the monthly
IMP page of the website. Wearing Alwite powered armour and carrying a
Tumbler SMG the veteran is minus her helmet and is sporting a
modified Impact Fist taken from a Desteria Knight's armour. She
stands some 17mm tall in one piece. A real character. This
miniature is a fine addition to any 15mm science fiction collection
for any game system.

this month onwards when we unveil the new free miniature for the
month we will also be looking back at what the monthly free miniature
was a year ago at this time. In October 2013 the free miniature was
IMP02 Retained Knight with power fist. It was our second miniature
