Following on from the last concepting post about the fantastic Duxis Battlesuit in art form we now have tin masters and you can see them laid out in the images above in this post.  We are working towards the release and the ESO's 'Early Support Offers' which will be a big feature of the pre-release as with the Havelock Battlesuit last year. The next post on the Duxis will outline the ESO's with the special prices and free bonus items and also have some painted images too, but for now here are the details of our most complex white metal wonder yet.

MkIII Duxis Battlesuit
The Duxis Battlesuit known to some as the 'Royal Gift'. IAF030 can be given a number of roles from a knight to melee specialist to ranged purposes in play and stands 30mm tall. Cast in white metal in 15mm scale it requires assembly and has a good degree of pose choices through its variants.  Composed of an upper body, lower body, head and then a choice of weapons and arms (gauntlets) from eight variants the Duxis is a versatile machine. Chose body angle, choose head angle and direction, choose arms and weapons.  It can be posed many different ways.

  2. These look superb and well thought out miniatures the fact that they are multi posed gives you loads of variety. The 'Winnower' variant inspires me the most with that ancient Trabs Energy Spear relic Gungnir, so it will be my first Duxis Battlesuit on my buy list.

    1. Sam Croes spent a lot of time on the concept stage to allow for many poses and varients. That is a nice idea for Gungnir and the Trabs will feature in the ESO's. Thanks!

  3. Just a quick question, is that a crest embossed on the Cetra Shield Hand ? also would it be possible to choose either a shield hand or a gauntle when ordering the Bladesman or Winnower Battlesuit variants? Thanks Zac

    1. Hi Zac. No crest on the Centra but it does have detail work around the edges, it mean you can paint on your own or leave it blank. Currently no, the variants are set as laid out in the posting but would it be of interest to make a 'bits' list so that parts of the Duxis can be bought as singles?

  4. These are great Gavin! How soon will we have game stats or at least an idea of how all these weapons and figs work in game terms? Thanks! Jonathan

    1. Thanks. The Duxis featured in the Patrol Angis playtesting. All of the ranged weapons are covered there and are the same as for the Havelock and also for the future Portable Weapon codes too. Patrol Angis covers them all.

  5. It might be good idea for the buyers of just the Bladesman or Winnower to have the choice of either shield hand or a gauntlet simply as they are close combat Battlesuits, i cant imagine any of the other variants wanting this choice because they all have ranged weapons and the shield arm would be of no use to those.variants.

    1. Certainly I can raise this at the next meeting. It would mean an increase in pack price for those variants as they would have more parts than the others if the gauntlet was included. I personally think that a list separate of all the parts to purchase aka 'bits pack' so total customisation is possible might be better.

  6. I meant to give the the buyer a choice of one or the other in the pack for example, a Bladesman with Cetra Shield Hand code: IAF030A as it currently is or with Gauntlet code: IAF030A1 which would be a new variant code, alternatively your idea would also work just fine. :)
